This September 25th and 26th, Havasu Air Center is having their annual “Fly-in at the Lake 2010” being held at the Lake Havasu City Airport (KHII).

During this two day fly-in, there will be many activities such as the American  Hero’s Air Show featuring advanced military and civilian helicopters and the pilots who fly them. Many different types of active military aircraft’s from local military bases will be on display as well as aircraft manufacturers to display their new 2010 aircraft.

The Havasu Air Center will be hosting the B-25 (Main in the Shade) which for the first time is certified to give rides.

A special feature of this years “Fly-in at the Lake” is that the Havasu Air Center will be broadcasting the air show live via YouTube to our troops overseas. If there is someone overseas you would like to send a message to then we will be able to broadcast it live. On the evening of September 25th there will be a live USO Show with a live band, acts from previous shows and Pin-Up girls who will be available for pictures.

Sunday the 26th will feature our Havasu’s Got Planes poker run. Starting at 8am and ending by 11am, the poker run will hit 3 destination airports located in Parker, Bullhead and Needles and end back in Havasu.

If you are planning on flying in for this event, please pre-register so a spot can be reserved as there is expecting to be up to 5,000 people in attendance. Additionally there is no registration fee for the Air Show but donations can be bade to Operation Gratitude to help our troops overseas.
